Furfural IMPORTANCE originates from its properties leading to numerous uses as an intermediate
Furfural can not be produced by synthesis
Furfural must be manufactured from the Pentosans
The Pentosans are contained only in agricultural and natural materials

Furfural PRODUCTION uses the WASTES and RESIDUA from suitable AGRO-INDUSTRIAL raw MATERIALS
If these Agro-Industrial WASTES are not processed, they must be disposed off in dedicated facilities: Special Land-fills and/or Dedicated Treatment Processes must be used to dispose all these wastes
The mandatory use of Appropriate processes to treat these wastes, including thermal ones, create no social and economic value, generating further additional pollution sources that impact on the climate change
